This book shows the reader a step-by-step way to enter the world of blogging--I set up two blogs within minutes, and it was very easy. Each step is explained and reinforced with a screen shot to make it extremely simple to follow. This book is a valuable tool for those individuals or companies who are ready to take the next step into the cyberworld.

Blogging is a popular internet phenomenon that has quadrupled in size within the last five years. Nearly everyone you know has a blog; from your florist to your dog groomer, blogging is accessible and available for ANYONE to use. From personal blogs, to commercial and business blogging, this internet media is an effective, cheap and easy way for anyone to relay information. The problem that many of us face is that we don't know where to begin, or if we even have much to say that is considered "blog worthy"!
Fortunately Bruce C. Brown answers every question you've ever had about blogging in his book, The Secret Power of Blogging: How to Promote and Market Your Business, Organization or Cause With Free Blogs. This informative guide will navigate you through the often confusing world of internet blogging. He provides detailed instructions for business owners wanting to expand their business profits through internet blogging, as well as how to create interesting blogs for people or organizations wanting to share their messages and opinions.
Brown discusses the basic steps to building your blog and will touch on the legalities of blogging, as well as the different aspects of technology you will need to create and maintain your blog. As your blog popularity grows, Bruce Brown also provides creative tips to entice subscribers to keep coming back, and he includes different ways you can profit from your blog. His profit tips are the best part of this book, due to the fact that most of us wouldn't know this type of information unless we were technology whizzes or knew someone who was. Luckily for you, Bruce Brown's extensive blogging knowledge is right at your fingertips in this wonderfully informative guide.

When I started to read this book I had no idea what was meant by blogging. The book not only clarified what, but how to apply the principles so that it was possible to set up a Blog with little difficulty. I would recommend this book to anyone who is starting out, but it would certainly be helpful for those people who have some experience with blogging but need some addition assistance.

I have to confess I started reading this book with a great deal of skepticism. Oddly enough, the author quickly grabbed my attention by relating he went through the same experience when he first stumbled upon blogging as a serious matter to study.
The Secret Power of Blogging, by Bruce C. Brown, is an all-in-one book for bloggers, serious bloggers, wanna-be-bloggers, or someone like me that has no idea of the magnitude and the importance of blogging within the ever changing e-commerce universe.
The author takes particular care in providing step by step instructions in, not only how to set up the blog, but how to market it, and some special rules of engagement in regards to cyberetiquette, and the like.
I especially appreciate the large type, making it so easy the ride, as well as the layman style. It is not necessary to be a "technocrati" to understand it. Although some minor typos make you think maybe the book was written in a rush, this is an undeniable needed source of information for both individuals and corporations.

This book is a must have! The book breaks down how to blog in an easy to understand language. It's for the beginner who wants to learn all about this popular tool. Even if you already have experience and have a blog, you will learn something you didn't know.

The guide has a great deal of information about steps to blogging. It even shows you how to make money blogging by giving you ways to increase traffic to your blog and paid blog site information.

The guide spends a great deal of time deciphering all the ways to make your blog popular. There are specific steps outlined that you can follow with great success.

Where was this book when I was looking to setup my first Blog? Mr. Brown's book is the perfect fit for anyone interested in setting up a Website or Blog. He takes you step by step from where
the term Blog comes from, all the way through making money from your Blog. His words and
Terminology is understandable to all. You do not have to be a computer geek to understand
what he is writing about.

Mr. Brown teaches you that having a Blog can be a great addition to a business website. The
Blog can help create and expand your businesses marketing campaign. He offers ways that help
your business make additional money, increase your websites traffic, driving revenue up, and improving financial posture of an organization.

Another great point that is made, within this book, is the fact that before you even setup a Blog
or begin publishing you need to ask yourself some very important questions. Who will handle the blog? Who is your target market? What type of content will the Blog include?

See, I told you this book is a must read. Even as an experienced blogger, I have learned so many new helpful tips.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are approximately 26 million veterans in the United States. As of January 2007, more than 1.6 million U.S. servicemen and women had tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq. When not on active duty, more than 20 percent of these vets do not have health care coverage, and many more are unaware of the hundreds of benefits to which they have access. As a result, many are suffering financial strain during and after deployment.

This is a discouraging statistic because the federal and state governments, as well as private foundations, have scholarships and military discounts available only to veterans. There are billions of dollars in aid available, waiting to be claimed, but the problem is finding and properly applying for these programs. This groundbreaking new book will provide help to those heroic Americans who have answered our government's call to duty. You will find all contact information and Web sites included, making it easy to apply for the benefits you are entitled to, while meeting the requirements of the Department of Veterans Affairs and other organizations and private institutions.

Here is a small sampling of what you will learn about: the GI Bill, scholarships, grants, companies that offer military discounts, GI Bill eligibility, details of VA loans, National Guard GI Bill, benefits after service, veterans' employment, education, and training programs, VA-guaranteed home loan, GI Bill Apprenticeship and OJT Program, Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E), Reserve Education Assistance Program (REAP), disability compensation, employment and training, frequently asked questions, asking for local discounts, GI Bill education programs, homeless veterans programs, state veteran benefits directory, survivor benefits, VA appeals process, VA benefits explained, VA hospitals and facilities, veteran disability compensation, veterans' health care, veterans' life insurance, veterans' pension programs, vocational rehabilitation, burial and memorial benefits. If you are in the military now, a veteran, or a military family member, you will find this resource invaluable. Item# 9781601381507 $21.95

Finished My Latest Book: The Complete Guide to Affiliate Marketing on the Web: How to Use and Profit from Affiliate Marketing Programs

Thanks in advance to those who contributed to my latest book. I just turned it into the publisher, and it should come out in print early Fall 2008:

The Complete Guide to Affiliate Marketing on the Web: How to Use and Profit from Affiliate Marketing Programs

Affiliate marketing is a highly profitable online advertising method in which Web site merchants pay independent third parties to promote the products or services of an advertiser on their Web site. In other words, affiliate marketing involves posting a company's banner on your Web site or blog and attempting to send visitors to their Web site. If someone clicks on that banner or goes to that site and buys something, you will be paid a commission. While some affiliates pay only when a sale is made, some selling big ticket items like cars, credit cards, travel, and so forth have modified the model and pay for qualified leads. Affiliate marketing is now viewed as a key component of a company's online marketing strategy.

Affiliate marketing is an advertising technique that originally was developed by Amazon.com. In this new book you will learn how to master the art and science behind affiliate marketing in a matter of hours. By investing a few dollars you can easily increase the number of visitors to your Web site and significantly increase sales. If you want to drive high quality, targeted traffic to your site, there is no better way than affiliate marketing. Since you only pay when a sale is made, your marketing dollars are being used more effectively and efficiently compared to any other advertising method.

The keys to success in affiliate marketing are knowing what you are doing, devising a comprehensive and well-crafted advertising plan, and knowing the relationships between your Web site, search engines, PPC advertising, and campaign methodology. This groundbreaking and exhaustively researched new book will provide everything you need to know to get you started on generating high-volume, high quality leads. You will learn the six steps to a successful campaign: keyword research, software needed, copy editing, setup and implementation, performance analysis, return on investment, and reporting and avoiding PPC fraud.

In addition, we spent thousands of hours interviewing hundreds of today's most successful affiliate marketing masters. This book is a compilation of their secrets and proven successful ideas. Additionally, we give you hundreds of tips and tricks to ensure your Web site is optimized for maximum search engine effectiveness, which will drive business to your Web site and increase sales and profits.
